We have exciting news to share from MOCA Head Start! 🎉

Our St. James Center is officially reopened, and we are thrilled to welcome children and families back into the classroom!

PLUS — our Rolla Center is now offering a Full Day, Full Year class to better support working families and provide consistent, high‑quality early learning experiences for children. 🌟

We’re grateful for our communities’ patience and support as we continue expanding services to meet local needs.

Happy 4th of July from all of us at Missouri Ozarks Community Action Head Start! ✨

We will be closed on July 3rd in observance of the holiday but will reopen on Monday, July 6th.

This year feels extra special as America celebrates 250 years of independence — a milestone filled with history, progress, and the spirit of community that brings us all together.

Father’s Day is here, and we’re excited to celebrate the incredible father figures in our community!

At Missouri Ozarks Community Action Head Start, we know just how important dads, grandfathers, and father figures are in a child’s life. Your encouragement, time, and positive presence help build confidence, emotional security, and a strong foundation for learning.

Today, we’re celebrating all the father figures who read the extra story, cheer from the sidelines, fix what’s broken, and show up with love and support. We hope your Father’s Day is filled with quality time, well‑deserved rest, and maybe even a few great dad jokes.

Enrollment for the new school year is open at MOCA Head Start! We are excited to welcome children and families as we prepare for classes beginning in August.

Our available programs include Head Start: Ages 3–5, Early Head Start: Birth to Age 3 and Pregnant Moms. Please note: Children must be 3 years old before July 31 to qualify for Head Start enrollment.

To complete an application, please have the following:

🔹Proof of your child's birth
🔹Proof of family income
🔹Immunization records
🔹SNAP/EBT, TANF or SSI documentation (if applicable)
