It is our second week of Community Helpers! At our second clinic location, our clients got the opportunity to join in with Unity Dance and explore the ins and outs of a Madison County Fire Department truck! Huge thank you to everyone who is helping to make this experience possible 🦋🤍

To close out Community Helpers Week, we hosted a Trunk or Treat and Touch A Truck event for our families!

We are so grateful to everyone who helped make this possible! Thank you Big Dream Rentals for donating the bounce house to us for the evening. Our families loved it!! Also big thanks to Little Caesars for donating pizza & to Cindy Lou Who's Kettle Corn and Delights for filling our bellies. We would also like to thank the Richmond Police Department, Madison County EMS, the Madison County Fire Department, and City of Richmond Kentucky Fire Department for coming out!

FREE sensory-friendly play from 11 am to 1 pm this Sunday (October 18th)!

Admission during Sensory Hours is FREE thanks to the Murry Foundation plus support from Delta Dental of Kentucky LG&E and KU and Traditional Bank.

Our Sensory Hours are apart from regular operating hours. Exhibit sounds are reduced where possible, the lights are softer, and headphones and fidgets are available. Picture schedules are also provided for some exhibits. We have a sensory map for reference any time so that visitors can prepare for types of stimuli throughout the museum.

Today, we closed the clinic to our clients and held a Staff Training day! Days like these help our RBTs continue their education, sharpen their skills, and strengthen fellowship within our team. We had so much fun today!

Our administrators, BCBAs, Lead RBTs, and Trainers all put hours into organizing these trainings so the day runs seamlessly and is engaging for all of our staff! ✨🦋

On this rainy Thursday, our clients were paid a visit from Madison County Schools bus system and Registered Nurse, Angie! It was an entire hands-on day with puppets, learning to fasten seatbelts, and exploring all of the medical equipment Nurse Angie brought. They had a blast! We are so thankful for this community 🦋✨🤍

Today we had special visitors bring construction equipment for our clients to explore! Our clients loved getting to learn about the equipment and explore the machines. A huge thank you to Devere Construction for taking the time to visit us and make this experience memorable for our learners! 🦋✨🦺
