Judy Ann (Yoder) Berry, 82, peacefully passed away at her home in Florida on Saturday, August 22, 2026.

Judy was born in Richmond, Indiana, on May 16, 1944, to Norman and Clara Yoder. She married her loving husband, Arvie Berry Sr., on October 6, 1962. Judy and Arvie lived in the Richmond area for many years. After his passing in 2000, Judy moved to Florida to be with her grandson, Jeremy.

While living in Florida, Judy worked as a front desk clerk. She enjoyed playing bingo, cooking, playing cards, and traveling. Judy loved to joke and laugh, but most of all, she cherished spending time with her family. She was a dedicated wife and loving mother who will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Left to cherish her memory are her son, Arvie Jr. (Ronda) Berry; daughter, Rhonda Michelle Dionne; five grandchildren, Jeremy (Chastity) Wells, AJ Berry III (Tarah), Tara Berry, Ryan Dionne, and Kenny Dionne; 12 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; and many cousins and family members whom she loved dearly.

In addition to her parents, Judy was preceded in death by her loving husband, Arvie; daughter, Lynn Berry; and sister, Kay Clark.

Judy's remains will be laid to rest next to her beloved husband Arvie in Elkhorn Cemetery. The family will hold a celebration of life at a later date, with details to be announced.

Alberta Parrett Snowden, age 81, passed away Thursday August 27, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. Born on August 19, 1945, in Mount Vernon, KY, Alberta spent her life spreading love and joy to her family and friends from her home in Centerville, IN.

Alberta was a devoted homemaker, celebrated for her incredible talent in creating stunning wedding cakes that sweetened many special occasions. Her passion for crafting extended to making beautiful quilts, each stitch woven with love, which will now wrap her grandchildren and great-grandchildren in comfort and warmth. Alberta found joy in connecting with her roots and devoted hours to exploring family genealogy, sharing stories and history that brought her family closer together. Alberta's spirit and creativity will continue to inspire all who knew her.

She will be dearly missed by her loving husband, John Snowden, and their son, Ronnie (Dianna) Snowden; 7 grandchildren Angela, Thomas, Jerry, Adam, Brad, Harley and Mika; 15 great grandchildren; son-in-law Mike McCurdy; sisters Jean Prather and Barb (Wayne) Ratliff; sister-in-law Dani Parrett and special cousin Margaret. Alberta is preceded in death by her parents James Parrett and Emma McCracken Parrett; her daughter Kimberly Snowden McCurdy, son Mike Snowden, brothers Alfred, Lloyd and Paul Parrett and grandson Nick.

Gary Snowden will officiate services on Wednesday September 2, 2026, at 1pm at Riggle-Waltermann Mortuary. Committal services will immediately follow in Crown Hill Cemetery in Centerville, IN. Family and friends may pay their respects during the public calling on Wednesday September 2, 2026, at Riggle-Waltermann Mortuary, starting at 11:00am, followed by the funeral service at 1:00pm.

Michael Wayne Crawley, 64, died Monday, August 24th, 2026 at Reid Hospital surrounded by family.

He was born in Richmond on January 17, 1962 to parents Artha Deena and Robert Allen Crawley. He graduated from Richmond High School in 1980 and joined the military, completing his training in Fort Bennings, GA. He joined the Richmond Fire Department in 1984 and proudly served the city and its citizens until his retirement in 2015.

After his retirement from the fire department, he continued to work for several years in various jobs. His favorite of his later jobs was as a school bus driver for the city of Richmond, where he was affectionately referred to by his students as "Mister Mike".

He was married to Pamela Sams (née Moore), with whom he had two children: Erica Crawley-Hebert (deceased) and Christopher Crawley. He later married Mendy Crawley (née Dillon), with whom he had three children: Brandon Crawley (deceased), Brianna Crawley and Bryan Crawley.

He will be remembered for his perseverance, his straightforwardness, his love for his family, his sense of humor, and his appreciation for action movies and classic rock.

He was preceded in death by his mother and father; his daughter, Erica; and his son, Brandon. He is survived by three children, Christopher, Brianna and Bryan; his sister, Michelle Graci; his brother, Matt Crawley; three grandchildren, Makayla Hebert, Samuel Hebert and Chris Crawley; and one great-grandchild, Shawn.

Memorial visitation will take place at Riggle-Waltermann Mortuary on Saturday, August 29, 2026, from 3:00-5:00 p.m., with a brief memorial service directly following at 5:00 p.m.

Ronald A. Showalter Jr.

Ronald A. Showalter Jr., age 77 of Richmond, died Wednesday morning at Ascension St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis. He was born in Richmond, Indiana on September 27, 1948, to Ronald Showalter Sr. and Alma Young Showalter and had lived in the area for most of his life. Ron was a 1966 graduate of Richmond High School and retired from Alcoa/Silgan. He married Barbara Drook Showalter on June 1, 1968, and together they had two beautiful daughters, Lori and Amy. Ron was an avid ham radio operator and collector. He loved taking trips to Florida, every year in the fall he would take the girls out of school and take the family to Daytona Beach in Florida for two weeks for a family vacation. He loved his family and he will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Left to cherish his memory are his daughters Lori (Brent Wolfe) Curts and Amy (Mike) Roth; grandchildren Miranda (Josh) Waller, Andy (Taylor) Aughe, Maggie (David) Burke and Caleb (Ryan) Curts; great grandchildren Kaylee Aughe, Kaiden Aughe, Maci Smarrelli and Mya Smarrelli; sister Linda Herrman and brother Jerry Showalter. In addition to his parents, Ron is also preceded in death by his wife Barbara Drook Showalter.

Services for Ronald will be held at 10am on Wednesday August 26, 2026, at Riggle-Waltermann Mortuary. Committal service will immediately follow in St. Andrew Cemetery. Visitation hours will be held on Tuesday August 25, 2026, from 4pm-7pm at the funeral home.
