Our mission is to develop a relationship with each person we serve (as we refer to them, Lifers) that equips them to make the visible progress necessary for their personal pathway to a Thriving Life. Along the way, we engage the community and bring awareness to the needs of Lifers. Our work meets a standard of accountability we call compelling stewardship that allows us to engage Lifers with a level of service and financial effectiveness seldom seen.

Happy Thankful Thursday to our wonderful friends at Capital One!

As part of a recent team gathering, Capital One volunteers joined us to assemble more than 300 snack bags and 200 activity bags for Project SAF (Safe, Alive, and Free)!

These bags are more than just snacks and activities. They're a way for our Project SAF team to connect with children and families in the communities we serve, build relationships, and spread a little joy along the way.

And WOW, did this group bring some artistic talent! From Rocky and his famous “Amaze, Amaze, Amaze!” line to Yu-Gi-Oh and plenty of other creative designs, these bags are works of art!

We're putting a twist on a Halloween trend to shine a light on some of the very real barriers people face when trying to build a better life.

At REAL LIFE, we're working every day to break down these barriers, create opportunities, and help people find their path to thriving.

Because everyone deserves a chance at a fresh start.

Our REAL Houses are going head-to-head in a pumpkin decorating contest, and we need YOUR help picking the winner!

Happy Workforce Wednesday! Today, we're celebrating Wilshard, who recently earned a raise at the property maintenance company where he works!

As part of the industrial cleaning team, Wilshard enjoys being the go-to guy who can do a little bit of everything. He loves opportunities to learn new skills, takes pride in serving the community, and values being someone his coworkers can count on.

“I am excited and proud to be a part of this team,” he shared.

Congratulations to House E, our House of the Month!

When we asked Peer House Leader Ricky and the Lifers how they wanted to celebrate, they had one request: a cookout! We brought the food, and they fired up the grill for burgers, hot dogs, sides, and plenty of good conversation.

Earning House of the Month is no small feat! From keeping their REAL House clean to prioritizing meetings and classes and staying on track in the program, everyone has a part to play. With different schedules and personalities under one roof, it takes teamwork, commitment, and effort from everyone.

Help us give Ricky and the Lifers of House E a big congratulations on this well-deserved recognition!
