Headaches & Neck Tension 💆
DO YOU SPEND HOURS LOOKING AT A PHONE OR COMPUTER?
Long periods in one position can contribute to neck discomfort and muscle tension for some people. In certain cases, neck-related problems may also contribute to headaches.
Here are three simple habits worth trying during your workday:
💻 Change positions: Avoid staying in one position for too long.
🚶 Take movement breaks: Stand up, walk around, and give yourself a break from your screen.
🪑 Adjust your setup: Position your screen so you can look at it comfortably without constantly bending your neck.
Physical therapy may help people with certain types of neck-related headaches through individualized exercise, mobility work, and movement education.
Remember, headaches can have many causes. Sudden, severe headaches or headaches accompanied by new neurological symptoms require urgent medical evaluation.
If persistent neck discomfort is interfering with your daily activities, we're here to help you explore your options.
