Great group of peeps! Show up, line up and hit pitches. Non-competitive baseball for kids of all ages and abilities! I went out to the ball park last week and it was such a fun time! There were kids of all ages there! It also opens doors for seasoned parents to have opportunities to mentor younger parents through this walk of special needs parenting, their wealth of knowledge is unmatched and the resources and lived experiences are super helpful! Get out to the ball field if you can and get acquainted with this super cool non-profit!

A day late BUT May 18TH is National Speech Therapist's Day as part of MAY which is NATIONAL SLP MONTH. I am so very thankful for the team of speechies I have working along side me and the valuable work they do everyday!!! So many things we could not accomplish everyday without these amazing people making things happen and moving mountains! Thank a speech therapist today! x6 if you happen to stop by the office 🥰😁😜

As we explore National Speech Therapy Month!! Let's explore one of the nuances of language development...a specific way in which some kids learn in chunks, rather than "vocabulary first" language development! We see this in kiddos who sing, say predictive phrases (ie. "See you later") or count and recite the alphabet much sooner than age-matched peers! Therapy can look different because their learning style is vastly different too! Amazing little learners!!
