As part of the Rivergate Complex in Riverview, Michigan (along with sister facility Rivergate Terrace), Rivergate Health Care Center is just minutes from four local hospitals. Whether a patient is here for short-term rehab, long-term care or recovery from surgery or illness, we strive to provide the same excellent level of care and service to everyone.

🏅 Our Business Development Director, Julia, had an amazing time attending the Senior Olympics!

What a great time cheering on the teams and celebrating all the incredible accomplishments of our seniors! She also had the chance to meet U.S. Representative Debbie Dingell, who also attended. It was a fantastic day that proved that athleticism is alive and well with our local senior population. 💪 We're already looking forward to the next one! 😄

The Rivergate Campus had a wonderful time hosting Music Bingo with our amazing business friends from the community! 🏆 What a fun evening filled with friendly competition and great connections! 🎉 We are so proud of Erica Ayoob, one of our amazing Nurses! Not only did she receive our monthly Whatever It Takes Champion award in April 2025, and our annual award, but she has now won Life Care Centers of America's Mountain States Division's Annual Whatever It Takes Champion award!

Erica was selected out of thousands of associates and is one of only 7 associates from Life Care's nearly 200 facilities to receive this recognition. 💙 Check out his video to see what makes her so special at our community.

🚘 Rivergate Campus hosted our Inaugural Car Show on Aug. 8, and we had a great turnout of 18 cars join us! 😃

🛻 Residents, families, and associates enjoyed looking at and learning about the cars. One of our residents even had the opportunity to sit in a car that was just like the one she used to drive when she was younger. 🫶 We also had a local ice cream shop join us and sell some nice cold ice cream, which was much needed on a hot day. Our residents voted for their favorite car, and we provided a flyer to the top 3 cars. Congrats to all our winners, and thank you to everyone who came out to support the event! ❤️

💬 "My stay here was awesome! I definitely believe in the benefits of therapy. My hard work in therapy with awesome therapists paid off, and now I'm going home!" ~ Irene

Irene came to us unable to walk or wheel herself in a wheelchair and needing help with other areas of mobility and self-care. When she left, she was up walking again, independent in bed and wheelchair mobility and dressing, and only needing light assistance with stairs and hygiene. Congrats, Irene! We wish you all the best at home! 🙌

💜 A Day Full of Purpose & Fun

The Rivergate Campus came together for a meaningful Walk Around the Pond to End Alzheimer's, showing our support and raising awareness for an important cause, the Alzheimer's Association. Every step makes a difference! 🚶🏼‍♂️🚶🏼‍♀️👣

Afterward, some of our residents kept the fun going by enjoying an amazing Jimmy Buffett tribute band! 🎶🏝️🍹 From making a difference to enjoying great music and good times, it was a wonderful day filled with community, compassion, and plenty of smiles! 🎶
