🐇Pads. Tampons. Any kind of feminine product.
🐇It took me many years to realize as a woman, the amount that the world profits off of women just living their lives.
🐇While I write this post and hoping it reaches the right audience, I can’t help but wonder the total amount of money that has been made for companies that profit off of women and girls having their periods every single month.
🐇Not just for feminine products, but also the cost of doctors appointments for women’s health whether it’s having a baby or just needing to see a doctor because of a reproductive issue.
🐇On this day, the 19th amendment was passed in 1920.
🐇Did those women ever think that our country would be turning back the clock like they are now?
🐇I can’t help but wonder if the women who fought so hard for us to have that right along with so many other rights would just be raging for the direction that our country goes in currently.
🐇While women’s rights vary by state, men go about their business while having no real risk of getting in trouble for the reproductive health, depending on the state they live in.
🐇When will it change?
🐇How will it change?
🐇Women in the charge. Period 🩸

It’s okay to be mad, to question and be upset 😭
You don’t have to glorify any one or any “being” when you lose a child or any loved one. 🩷💙

You don’t expect to walk into the hospital at 38 weeks and leave without your baby. ❤️

In this episode, Lonna shares her journey through PCOS, stillbirth, miscarriage, fostering, and eventually welcoming her rainbow baby after years of heartbreak.

At 38 weeks pregnant with her daughter, Eleanor, she went into the hospital expecting an induction and left facing the unimaginable.

We talk about the shock of losing a baby when everything seemed fine, carrying grief through everyday life, and the fear and hope that can exist side by side after loss.

Were you taught about the importance of movement?

🐇Some may like this post and some may not.
🐇And that’s OK.
🐇The current state of our country that is waging a war on women’s bodies is one of the most terrifying things that we will see in our time. (Other than the current genocide in P@lestine)
🐇The fact that we are in the year 2026 and we have to gather in protest to fight for women to be treated like their fellow male counterparts is sickening.
🐇We are lucky to live in New York State, where there is still full access to reproductive healthcare for women, but I just think about the over 400 women who have been criminalized since Roe v. Wade was overturned and have been punished for making a decision about their own body.
🐇When people are only looking at it from a biblical standpoint and not realizing that every pregnancy does not always go as planned is ignorance.
🐇As somebody who needed an ab@rtion due to my child Darcie dying inside of me, I am grateful for that being available.
🐇I think we have to realize as a society, if this is the track we are on, women will not want to have children at all.
🐇If there is a chance we can be in trouble legally for our bodies failing us or becoming ill because of pregnancy, why do it?
🐇Why put ourselves at risk, again and again and again.
This is not the handmaids tale but damn, it sure feels like it.

Remember, it’s OK if today is not one of your favorite days. I have mixed feelings about Mother’s Day and while I cherish the time I spend on this day with my earthbound kids, it’s just a painful reminder of the ones that didn’t get to stay.💗💙
