Common Ground Health brings together leaders from our 14-county region to collaborate on strategie

Common Ground Health is one of the nation’s oldest and most effective regional health planning organizations located in Rochester, NY. We bring together health care providers, insurers, consumers and other partners to find common ground on our area’s most pressing health challenges. Using the region's most comprehensive health data, together we hammer out strategies for better care, smarter spending and healthier people. Through all of these activities, Common Ground Health seeks to promote population health improvement and reduce health care disparities in the Finger Lakes region.

Who gets counted matters.

Proposed changes to the 2030 Census could exclude some people from the population count and eliminate questions about race and ethnicity. These changes could affect representation, funding, and our ability to understand and respond to the needs of communities across our region.

Our partners at ACT Rochester do a great job of explaining what is at stake and how you can make your voice heard before the Nov. 2 deadline.

A stronger oral health workforce means healthier communities, but oral health professionals cannot do this work alone.

Oral Health 2026: New Conversations on Access and Inclusion will bring together dental professionals, health care leaders, policymakers, and advocates to exchange ideas, strengthen partnerships, and help shape the future of oral health in New York.

Join the conversation at the New York State Oral Health Coalition's annual meeting, November 9-10 in Troy. Sessions will explore oral health for children, veterans, and people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, along with state and national policy and the Coalition's evolving role.
