Were you one of the hundreds of women who came out in sisterhood this weekend during the 20th anniversary events of A Call to Women of Color?

We are so proud of Jackie Dozier and all that she has accomplished over the years. What started twenty years ago in her backyard has grown into a three day soiree held at the Little Theater, Genesee Valley Park, and La Luna.

For 20 years, A Call to Women of Color has been creating space for conversations that matter to the health and well-being of Black women and girls in our community.

This Friday, join us at The Little Theatre for a special screening of Me Period, a powerful documentary that explores the realities of menstrual health, the stigma that surrounds it, and the impact these challenges have on education, economic opportunity, and overall well-being.

Too often, conversations about women's health are left out of the public dialogue. This film helps bring those conversations forward while highlighting the importance of dignity, access, and equity.

Whether you're a parent, educator, healthcare professional, advocate, community leader, or simply someone who cares about advancing health equity in Rochester, we invite you to be part of this important evening.
