You are not out of options. You can feel better.

Meet Dr. Rob Myers, DO, Board Certified Neurologist and founder of Navira Brain and Body, and a new Small Business Connection we are excited to share!

Dr. Myers cares for people living with depression, chronic pain, and headaches using a combination of osteopathic medicine and neurology. His specialty is TMS (Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation) — and he offers a newer, FDA-cleared protocol that takes just six sessions instead of the traditional 30-40, making it accessible earlier and not just as a last resort.

He works closely with therapists and mental health providers — and his approach aligned so closely with TOHC’s mission that Kara invited him to educate our team directly.

If you or someone you know has felt stuck, there is more available than you might think. Learn more at naviramed.com.

🌿 SMALL BUSINESS CONNECTIONS

The Postpartum Coaching Village with Sarah Buduson represents the perfect combination of support for the “fourth trimester”, when moms are recovering physically, adjusting emotionally, and navigating the ups and downs of newborn care and needs. Sarah believes that with genuine, practical support, moms (and dads!) can adjust and thrive during what Sarah calls this “season” of motherhood. As the “seasons” of pregnancy, postpartum, and parenthood evolve, Sarah can offer her nursing, women’s health, and personal life experience to ensure that moms don’t feel alone, that they feel seen and heard, and that they feel comfortable and confident on this amazing journey. Sarah truly meets moms where they are, going into their home if needed, to provide education and support in the moment. Her postpartum coaching approach truly bridges a gap between labor and delivery and postpartum OB follow up - that critical time where moms are at risk for feeling overwhelmed and alone. Our community is so lucky that Sarah has identified this need for her unique combination of skills, and has committed to moms and babies’ health and wellbeing! Stay tuned while Sarah continues to build her internet and social media presence! .buduson

SMALL BUSINESS CONNECTIONS 📸

Looking at life with the eye of a photographer and the heart of a social worker. Sweet Home Photography

Meet Meg Tyo, LCSW and owner of Sweet Home Photography - one of our most unique and heartfelt Small Business Connections!

Meg combines the compassion of social work with the personal expression of photography to give older adults a platform to truly be themselves. Whether it is words of wisdom, candid silly moments, or posing with a meaningful object, Meg captures genuine emotion and beautiful stories - not just a posed photo.

Kara’s takeaway: Meg’s passion for this work is palpable, and her pride in the gift she gives her clients is inspiring. She brings two rare skills together in a way that is entirely her own - and the result is something truly special for the people she photographs.

If you have an older adult in your life who deserves to be celebrated and truly seen, Sweet Home Photography is the place. We loved every minute of this conversation with Meg.
