I admit it, I'm really bad at doing nothing.
I’ve spent most of my life in “doing” mode—thinking, creating, researching, planning, helping, fixing. Even when I’m technically relaxing, my brain often didn’t get the memo.
Can you relate???
In my latest podcast episode, “Permission to Pause: Sometimes Doing Nothing Is Much Harder Than It Seems,” I talk about the difference between simply stopping what we’re doing and actually allowing our mind and body to rest.
I also share why this has been such a lifelong challenge for me, what I’ve learned about nervous system overdrive, and my new Permission to Pause' experience I created at the ZenDen for people like me...who sometimes need a little help remembering how to relax.
I have finally learned (I think) that rest isn’t something we need to earn. Sometimes we simply need permission to pause. 💙
