Desk Job by Day, Athlete by Night. Is your body ready to do both?

We all want to have it all. The job, The family, The lifestyle. But as we all know, there is only so much time during the day so we sacrifice simple things that have a massive impact.

We go from 0 to 100 real fast and the truth is, it's okay to do until it's not. We go from working 8 hours at a desk, doing the same thing over and over again, to doing something completely different. Both the desk and the workout put different stressors on the body.

Our bodies are not always ready for the demand that the workout brings. Our tissues, muscles and joints are not always primed for load the training demands.

We are here to maximize what your body is able to do in the workplace, in the gym, on the trails.

Maximum Performance isn't just a name we chose for the clinic, it is the vision we have for all aspects of your life.

Meet Dr. Maurice Pearl πŸ™Œ
Growing up in the Kansas City area, Dr. Pearl was always in motion baseball, basketball, football and track. That competitive drive carried him to Missouri Southern State University, where he played football. But it was the injuries along the way that pointed him toward chiropractic care.
He studied Chiropractic at Logan University in St. Louis, working in the Biofreeze Human Performance Clinic and treating Division I athletes from Mizzou, SIUE, and other regional programs. After chiropractic school, he practiced across Northwest Arkansas and the River Valleybefore returning in 2021 to lead Maximum Performance.
Outside the clinic, he's still an athlete at heart CrossFit, powerlifting, Olympic lifting, and strongman keep him sharp. He's also active with the American Chiropractic Association, serving as Alternate Delegate for Arkansas.

Meet Dr. Jake Curran πŸ™Œ
Dr. Curran grew up in Garden City, Kansas, and went on to quarterback the football team at Kansas Wesleyan University, earning conference Player of the Year honors and helping lead his team to the NAIA playoffs. That firsthand experience with the demands of competitive sport is exactly what led him into chiropractic care.
He studied at Cleveland University in Kansas City, diving deep into continuing education to expand his skill set manual manipulation, Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA), Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization (DNS), Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy (MDT), dry needling, cupping, IASTM (scraping), and kinesiotaping. He also served as club president for the Motion Palpation Institute while in school.
Off the clock, he's spending time with his wife Heidi, daughter Murphy, and dog Lady or out golfing, water skiing, working out, or watching football.
