Somewhere along the way, healthcare in America became “take a pill for the pill that caused the problem from the last pill.”

Today, a friend shared the 6-day medication supply of his 85-year-old father. Rows and rows of medications. Morning pills. Night pills. Pills for side effects. Pills to help tolerate other pills. And somehow we expect our elderly population to fully understand:
• what each medication does
