Last night, several members of our leadership team had the pleasure of attending the 2026 BRAVO! Dinner – Cruising for a Cause, hosted by McLaren Macomb and the Karmanos Cancer Institute.
Representing Orchard Grove Senior Living were Skyler, Community Lifestyle Director; Dana, Administrator; Vicki, Legacy Neighborhood Director; Beth, Assistant Director of Nursing; Annette, Director of Sales; Mary, Director of Sales; and Kim, Director of Environmental Services.
We were honored not only to attend this incredible event but also to serve as a proud sponsor. It was an inspiring evening dedicated to supporting cancer research, patient care, and the ongoing efforts to make a difference in the lives of so many individuals and families.
Thank you to McLaren Macomb and the Karmanos Cancer Institute for hosting such a meaningful event. We are grateful to be part of a community that comes together to support such an important cause.

Yesterday, our residents had the pleasure of visiting the Jack Frost Auto Museum in Washington Township, and as always, it did not disappoint!
For many of our residents who grew up in the area, the visit brought back wonderful memories. Some even had the opportunity to know Jack Frost himself, making the experience even more special. We enjoyed touring the impressive collection of classic automobiles and memorabilia while also learning more about Jack Frost’s life, passion, and legacy.
A heartfelt thank you to the museum staff for another memorable visit filled with history, nostalgia, and great conversation. Our residents thoroughly enjoyed every moment!

Today at The Village at Orchard Grove, we continued one of our favorite annual traditions—creating our stepping stones! 🪨❤️🤍💙

This special tradition was started in 2021 by Amanda Schwark, our lifestyle engagement Director , and it has become a cherished activity that our residents look forward to each year. As we approach our 5-year anniversary, Skyler our current Director of community lifestyle has proudly continued this meaningful tradition, helping create lasting memories one stepping stone at a time.

This year’s Campus in Color theme celebrates America’s 250th Birthday, so our stepping stones were decorated with beautiful red, white, and blue gems and stones in honor of this historic milestone. 🇺🇸✨
