Creativity is in full bloom at Homestead of Russell! Today, our residents enjoyed painting beautiful birdhouses and colorful suncatchers while continuing to watch our butterfly garden come to life. There's nothing better than sunshine, smiles, and making memories together! Jerrica's son Julian and Rita's great-grandson joined us for the birdhouses!

The staff jar had 957 pieces of candy, and Tira came the closest with her guess of 983!
The resident jar had 1,052 pieces, and Ann was our closest guess with 1,200!

Happy Mother's Day to all of the incredible women in our lives! Our activity director, Jerrica Strouse, shared some beautiful words with us:

"Motherhood doesn’t always look the same for everyone in this room. Some of you raised children, some helped raise grandchildren, nieces, nephews, neighbors, or anyone who needed love and guidance. But every one of you has left fingerprints on somebody’s life. Today is about celebrating the care, strength, sacrifices, and love you’ve given over the years.
