Happy 11th Work Anniversary to Molly! 💙

Molly is a nurse, a mom of 5, a Type 1 mom, and truly our Molly of all jobs.

She started at the front desk 11 years ago and has done just about every job at DCC since. She is a diabetes educator, insulin pump trainer, infusion nurse, Tzield advocate speaker, furniture assembler, problem solver, and whatever-else-needs-to-be-done specialist. If something needs to be done, Molly is usually the one who figures it out.

Being a Type 1 mom isn’t just part of Molly’s story—it’s part of her passion. Many of you know her daughter, Aubri, who became the first person to receive Tzield outside of a clinical trial 3.5 years ago. Molly was there every step of the way, both as Aubri’s mom and as the nurse who infused it.

Today, 3.5 years later, Aubri is still in Stage 2 and still isn’t on insulin! 🙏

We couldn’t do it without our Molly. She works hard, loves her patients, keeps us laughing, and is always up for a little fun.

🚨 Big news for Omnipod 5 users!

We’ve been waiting on this update, and it’s almost here!

Coming with this update:
✅ New 100 mg/dL target option
✅ Libre 3 Plus compatibility
✅ More time in Automated Mode

Heads up: this will not be instant for everyone. The update is rolling out in phases, and to use the new 100 target, you’ll need the updated app/controller AND the newer R1 “black dot” pods.

Once your app/controller updates, check your pods so you’ll know if they’re compatible.

Patricia Davis is blooming in every way. 🌸💙

When she started with us, her A1C was 13.1…
Now? It’s been cut in HALF to 6.5.

Even more impressive — she’s consistently keeping her Time in Range in the upper 90s with NO hypoglycemia.

Funny how life shifts… we spend years taking care of our kids, and then one day they’re the ones saying, “Mama, we need you healthy.”

Patricia’s daughter kept cheering, encouraging, and serving as Patricia’s personal “food police” by keeping an eye on everything she ate. 😂

And Patricia showed up.
She made the changes.
She did the work.

And it shows. 🌸

We are SO proud of you, Patricia. This kind of progress deserves to be celebrated!

VERY IMPORTANT DEVICE SAFETY REMINDER‼️💙

With recent Dexcom G7 and Omnipod safety notices, please take a minute to check your lot numbers.

Some Dexcom G7 sensors from lots scheduled for destruction were stolen and resold through third-party sellers.

Insulet has also issued a safety notification affecting certain Omnipod products, including Omnipod 5, DASH, and Eros pods. The list of affected lots is extensive, so please check the official notice to see if your pods are included.

✅ Contact Dexcom or Omnipod for replacement information
