To help make your visit easier, Outpatient Lab and Radiology patients should now use the Cardiology Entrance, located next door to the Emergency Department, Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

đźš— Look for the new blue directional signs from the hospital parking lot - they'll guide you right to the entrance.

⏰ After hours, please continue using the Emergency Department entrance for outpatient lab and radiology services.

Vaginal delivery is the preferred method for mothers who are candidates, as it is associated with better short- and long-term outcomes for both mother and baby. We are committed to doing everything possible to support a safe vaginal birth.

The national average cesarean rate for first-time mothers with a single baby at term in the vertex position (the NTSV rate) is about 25%. In Louisiana, that rate is higher at 35%.

The federal Healthy People 2030 initiative aims for a rate below 23.6%.

We are proud that our practice’s current rate is lower than this national goal.
