We are an employment training program dedicated to helping adults with developmental disabilities obtain employment.

Our founders Wyatt and Braydon are passionate about the people they serve and passionate about employment! They believe whole heartedly that it is one of the greatest paths to a life of purpose, self determination, and connection for those with developmental disabilities. Combined they have almost 10 years of experience managing programs for adults with developmental disabilities. They have spent the last 3 years together managing together in Solano County, developing an employment training program with NBRC that has had incredible success (80% of participants employed). They are looking to transfer that same success over to ACRC.

🎨👻 BLUE HERON ART CLUB GOT SPOOKY! 🏚️🍂
This week at Art Club, we let our creative spirits take over and made DIY haunted houses using a mix of nature and everyday craft supplies.
We collected sticks and other nature finds, added random craft materials, and turned them into one-of-a-kind haunted houses. 🪵🕸️✨Spooky decorations? Absolutely. A little imagination? LOTS of it!
One of our favorite parts of art is seeing how everyone can start with similar materials and create something completely different. 💙
👻 NOW IT’S YOUR FAMILY’S TURN!
Take a walk together, collect sticks, leaves, rocks, or other nature finds, then grab some random craft supplies from around the house and create your own haunted house!
📸 Try it at home and show us what your family creates!
There are no rules — just let your creative spirits do the talking! 🎃✨

Sauce, cheese, toppings, and smiles! 🍕🙂
Participants made personal pizzas during our experiential activity. Everyone enjoyed choosing toppings, building their own pizza, and practicing decision-making skills while sharing a meal together.

Slime + glitter + charms = a VERY good day! 💚✨
Our Blue Heron Programs crew had an absolute blast at Joystick’s Slime Day! They welcomed us in, let us get creative (and a little messy 😆), and made the experience so much fun.

What makes Joystick extra special to us is that our connection doesn’t end with Slime Day. During the week, our participants also get the opportunity to volunteer and be part of what’s happening there. 💙

We love finding local places that welcome our crew and make us feel like part of the community.

Thank you, Joystick, for having us! And if you’re ever in Dixon, stop by and show this awesome local spot some support! 🎮🙌
