Why Community Acupuncture? There are so many reasons! We believe that all humans should have access to affordable healthcare, and that is why we try to make our treatments as accessible as we possibly can. For more information about community acupuncture and the movement to make acupuncture more accessible, check out some of Lisa Rohleder's writings linked in our blog: https://www.vagaro.com/saphyh

Why Community Acupuncture? There are so many reasons!! In the US we are not really used to community healing spaces. It might even seem weird at first to get acupuncture and nap in a room with other individuals. But we find that with time, this thing that feels foreign, often becomes what patients love best about us. Book an appointment today to harness that community healing power: https://www.vagaro.com/saphyh

This is determined by if you are dealing with mild issues, acute problems, severe pain, or chronic issues. For maintenance, coming in once a week to once a month is usually a good call. If you are dealing with a more acute or stubborn chronic situation coming in at least three times a week can work wonders! Check out our website / blog for more information, or better yet, book an appointment today and discuss a treatment plan that will work best for you. https://www.vagaro.com/saphyh

Everyone reacts to acupuncture a little bit differently. The most common feedback we get is that patients feel calm, peaceful, or maybe a little bit tired or heavy during or after a treatment. Sometimes the opposite is true though and patients report increased energy, energy movement, or digestive stimulation. These feelings are often combined with a reduction in pain, swelling, or other symptoms we are working on, though sometimes symptom changes are not immediate. For the most part patients leave feeling better than when they came in, but if this is ever not the case please let us know and we can adjust your next treatment. In solidarity with protests planned for International Workers Day we are asking our community to pay only in cash or check on Friday May 1st. Protest organizers are encouraging people to boycott work, school and shopping that day. By paying only in cash or check at our clinics you will be supporting the boycott by keeping that money out of the economy while still accessing the care you need. We will remain open as normal as we feel our most powerful way to support our community is by offering the acupuncture you all rely on.
