Our support for parents doesn't end when they leave the hospital. 💙

Whether they're preparing to welcome a new baby, navigating feeding challenges or simply looking for encouragement, families now have another place to turn for support.

In partnership with Champions for Children, Mease Countryside Hospital recently launched a Baby Café, a free weekly clinic offering breastfeeding support, expert guidance and community connection.

The clinic is free and open to anyone in the community, regardless of where they delivered, and walk-ins are welcome.

We're proud to help families throughout Pinellas County and beyond access the support and encouragement they need long after bringing their babies home. ✨

Trade the terminal for the tropics (for a minute)! 🌴

Last week, BayCare's Wellness and Safety team brought a little slice of paradise to Tampa International Airport, connecting with travelers alongside a stunning sand sculpture, featuring a beach and flamingo design in the Main Terminal near Phoebe. 🏖️🦩

From supporting the communities we serve, to promoting safety and wellness across Tampa Bay, we're proud to be part of a health care system making a difference beyond our hospital walls.

The sculpture will be on display through Sept. 30, so if you're traveling this summer, be sure to stop by, take a look and snap a photo! 💙

Mease Countryside Hospital recently marked an exciting milestone with the addition of a next-generation, AI-powered platform for Aquablation therapy, helping enhance treatment for patients with benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), also known as an enlarged prostate.

Made possible through the generosity of the Morton Plant Mease Foundation, this advanced technology combines enhanced imaging, robotic precision, and personalized treatment planning to support high-quality care while helping preserve quality of life.

Dr. Martin Richman recently performed the first procedures using the new system, supported by Maria Spier, CNIII for Urology, and our outstanding surgical team. Having performed Aquablation therapy for the past four years, our team continues to build on its expertise while bringing innovative care to the patients we serve.

A special thank-you to Sonia Viera, CST; Michael Benicasa, CST; and Leigh Gasper, RN, for helping ensure our patients received safe, compassionate, and exceptional care.

Before the Fourth of July holiday, team members came together to place flags throughout our courtyard in celebration of America’s 250th birthday and in honor of the veterans and service members who are part of our Mease Countryside Hospital family. 🇺🇸
