Why You Keep Delaying the Life You Say You Want
You don’t procrastinate because you’re lazy.
And you’re not failing because you lack discipline.
Most procrastination is actually emotional protection in disguise. It’s what happens when your mind associates action with discomfort—fear of failure, fear of judgment, fear of not being enough, or even fear of what happens if you actually succeed.
So instead of moving forward, you delay. You distract. You wait for the “right time.” But the real reason is often hidden beneath awareness: your nervous system is trying to keep you safe.
And sometimes procrastination doesn’t look like doing nothing. It looks like doing everything except the one thing that matters. Overworking. Over planning, Overthinking, Perfectionism, Burnout.
In the first half of the live, we’ll break down the emotional patterns behind procrastination, why your system resists certain actions, and how self-sabotage is often a form of protection—not failure.
Because once you understand what’s really happening underneath, you can finally stop fighting yourself and start working with your mind instead of against it.
