The internet is the Wild Wild West of information. Stay safe out there🫡

TLDS (too long didn’t scroll)
1. Back pain isn’t always caused by a big event. The straw that broke the camels back is a saying for a reason. Sometimes your brain and body will through their hands in the air and say “we’ve had enough.”

2. Back pain doesn’t need exclusive rest. Movement is medicine, my friend.

3. Back pain doesn’t mean you herniated a disc. Read the pic for this one.

4. (Sorry about this one) Not everyone will get 100% relief from back pain. Sometimes we have to switch focuses from full pain relief to function and find the wins in how we move, function, and celebrate what we still can do even if our pain lingers around a 2/10.

5. Fear of your back pain may be prolonging your recovery. Our mindset is wildly powerful and our thoughts tend to become our reality.

6. Core strength alone won’t fix your back pain. If your pain is being driven by stress, fear, or sensitization, no amount of dead bugs or ab exercises is going to touch it.

Swipe for the full version but hope this little synopsis helps.

For now I’ll just be here impatiently waiting for the internet to catch up with the science🤸🏼

Never stop learning 🤸🏼

Big takeaways and an even bigger thirst to keep finding cool things to learn about and bring into practice.

The body is cool, helping people is cool, chiropractic is really freakin cool.

You’re welcome 🤸🏼

They did not understand the assignment😅

Things I won’t be doing because I couldn’t do it-
-freak out that one side of my body is more mobile, stable, and strong
-panic stretch to try to “even” my hips out
-avoid mobility challenges because I 1/2 failed this one

Have more fun, be nicer to yourself, love your asymmetrical hot bod that gets you around this magical beautiful world🤸🏼

& it’s completely changed my life🤸🏼

Imagine not hunting for problems anymore!? Or feeling bad because you aren’t symmetrical?!

*She is me. I am her🤸🏼

I’m an evidence-based chiropractor and I’ll die on the hill that we all have leg length differences, pelvic tilts, and one shoulder higher than the other.

These are normal human asymmetries! Our body and brain adapts to grows and changes and if the only goal is to “fix” and “uneven” hip, the bigger functional picture has been completely missed.

Just because one hip may look higher doesn’t mean it’s causing harm.

Waiting for the a certain group of docs to come at me for the last one🙃

But in all seriousness and with all due respect, people come first. Changing our mindsets and growing and changing as research continues to evolve is crucial.

Happy to chat about any and all of these🤸🏼🤗💞

Exposing my non-highlight reel moments of 2025🫶🏼

Imposter syndrome really hits ya when kind strangers DM me saying I make this all look easy. It is in fact not that easy. I do not have it all together.

This has been the most beautiful year and a challenging year all rolled into one. I believe that two truths can exist at the same time and we have seasons of life that thankfully ebb and flow.

Cheers to the beautifully chaotic 2025🫶🏼
