Born and raised in St. George, Shayla earned her BSN magna cm laude from Utah Tech University before completing her Doctor of Nursing Practice at the University of Miami in 2025. As a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with a background in addiction medicine and pain management, she is passionate about compassionate, patient-centered care and helping patients improve their quality of life. We are thrilled to have her as a specialist!

Get to know PA, Daniel Corry! A Cedar City native, he’s proud to care for patients in the community he calls home. With a background in mental health and pediatrics, he brings a well-rounded and compassionate approach to patient care. Outside the clinic, he enjoys spending time with his family, playing sports, and getting up into the mountains. Dan has been with Desert Pain for many years and we are thrilled to call such an amazing healthcare professional one of our own!
