New research is helping shape how we think about family involvement in pediatric therapy , and it validates something we've believed from the start.
A 2024 systematic review of 98 studies on pediatric telerehabilitation found that while caregivers were involved in nearly every study, most were in supporting roles rather than active, collaborative ones. Interestingly, telemonitoring-based approaches were more likely to shift caregivers into that active role, exactly the gap our platform is designed to close.
At YourSteps Health, we build remote therapeutic monitoring technology specifically to help families move from the sidelines to the center of the care process.
