In true MN State Fair fashion, we had an Artist Showcase to highlight the many talents of residents at Highland Path! 🖼️🎨📸🧶✍️

From needlework and beading to photography and 3D models, it was such a delight to see these pieces of art!

The votes are in for the “Fan Favorite”! 🗳️

🏆 “Iowa Farm in Winter” - a watercolor painting done by Maggie.

🏅🏅There was actually a tie between two artists for the runner up spot… both the rug hooking done by Kate, “Hens Deliver the Goods”, and the pet portrait watercolor paintings done by John, “Get Back to Work, Mike” and “Ursa Major”.

Twin Cities pianist, singer, leader of community sing-alongs, accordionist and master storyteller Dan Chouinard performed for social hour! 😁🎹

Dan has been performing for four decades and is also a writer, a host of hit shows for radio, concert halls and theatrical stage. He performed regularly on “A Prairie Home Companion” and has toured with Garrison Keillor and Prudence Johnson.

A wonderful connection for many St Paul locals and a perfect afternoon at Highland Path!💕🎶
