🇸🇪 Sweden, you are just lovely.

Thank you so much to Victoriakliniken | Stockholm Dr. Charles Ranquist, Dr. Jessica Gahn, Dr. Marie Jaeger, Nick Lewin, and the entire Establishment Labs team (especially Ben and Christina) for this learning opportunity. I was able to observe live cases in the OR with tissue preservation using Mia and Preservé techniques.

Thank you also to the beautiful patients who allowed us visiting surgeons to share in their operative experience. I am forever grateful for my patients who teach me so much.

I am coming home with new tools in my toolbox I can’t wait to use on my patients and to share with my colleagues.

It was a short trip and I didn’t have much time to enjoy the wonders of this country but it is breathtaking. And the people are so kind.

And to the woman I met at the airport who is a breast cancer survivor … congrats on your amazing news at your appointment yesterday. Thanks for sharing it with me on social. You know who you are. 🎀

Sorry I have been MIA from social recently.

I’ve been really busy at my other job.

Happy first day of Kindergarten to my baby. And thank you to my patients and entire OR team and partner Dr. Gunn who started the day late so I could get hugs and kisses as she marched off on this special milestone.

For those of you that like spray sunscreen🧴here are my favorite summer tips.

I constantly was burning 🥵 my shoulders as a teenager at the beach despite applying sunscreen because my 👙straps would shift. Spraying without a suit on solves that problem!

I spray myself before leaving the house head 🙈 to toe 🦶.

But the spray is greasy and if you do in your bathroom the tile can get sleek and you can slip. So I apply it in my shower 🚿.

Have fun. 🤟🏻 Be careful in the sun. 🌞
