For the past five years, Purpose Through Passion has existed to support individuals in recovery by helping them reconnect with the activities theyâre passionate about â because we believe purpose and creativity are powerful tools for long-term sobriety. During that time, weâve been honored to provide hundreds of sobriety scholarships to our local Tampa Bay community.
One of the greatest privileges of this journey has been our partnership with Real Recovery, Floridaâs number one transitional living facility. Their team and residents have consistently shown what commitment, compassion, and community can look like in recovery, and weâre endlessly grateful for their partnership.
Earlier this year, due to capacity and funding limitations, we made the difficult decision to pause our scholarship program. Even so, the generosity of our community did not stop. With the funding we continued to receive, we shifted our focus back to grassroots efforts that directly reflect our mission. This year, we were proud to gift Real Recovery Sober Living with dozens of musical instruments and art supplies to support their recovery homes â providing shared, creative outlets residents can use together as part of their healing journey.
As grants and donations continue to come in, we remain committed to pouring that support straight back into our community in meaningful, mission-aligned ways. We are especially grateful to Enterprise Holdings and The Allstate Foundation for their continued generosity, which has helped make this work possible.
While we may not be operating at full speed, our heart for this community has never changed. Every effort, every donation, and every act of support is rooted in love and belief in recovery.
