In celebration of Dr. Kunal Amin's birthday today, St. Anthony's Hospital Foundation is honored to announce a $500,000 gift from Garner and Connie Koons in honor of Dr. Kunal Amin to support the expansion of the Susan Sheppard McGillicuddy Breast Center.

The gift will fund a new mammography unit for the expanding McGillicuddy Breast Center, increasing patient capacity and enhancing access to advanced breast imaging technology.

We are deeply grateful for the Koons' generosity and commitment to improving breast care in our community. An imaging lobby dedication ceremony will be held in September to unveil this naming gift and celebrate its impact.

A special blessing was held Tuesday for the newly restored statues of Jesus at St. Anthony's Hospital. Funded by the Foundation as part of a larger $27,000 grant to Mission Integration, the restoration helps preserve meaningful symbols of faith and comfort throughout our hospital.

Now returned to their homes in the Intensive Care Unit and the 7th Avenue Entrance, these beloved statues continue to provide peace, hope, and reflection for patients, visitors, and team members each day.

Thanks to the generosity of every team member who contributed, we not only reached our goal, but surpassed it, raising more than $90,000!
