Colorectal cancer is one of the most preventable cancers when found early, and screening plays a major role in prevention.

The Oregon Health Authority recently shared an important reminder for Oregonians: colorectal cancer rates are increasing among adults under 50, and average-risk adults should begin screening at age 45.

It’s a helpful read and a good reminder to talk with your healthcare provider about when screening is right for you.
