Join me in congratulating Selena St. Clair as Joseph C. Thomas Center's June Team Member of the month. 👏

Selena was born and raised in Shawsville, VA. She has 1 son and 2 grand fur babies.

Selena worked at Hale’s Restaurant for 28 years before they closed as the Manager and Cook. After they closed she went to work at Crowning Touch and working with all the seniors she realized her love for seniors and that is what brought her here to work. Selena says her favorite thing about working here is socializing with the residents and seeing the great care they get. The residents love her and her cooking!

During her free time she loves to mow on her zero turn mower, she mows the whole neighborhood any time she can. She also enjoys attending church at New Life Christian Ministries and any church activities she can go to.

Thank you, Selena, for all you do for us at Joseph C. Thomas Center!

Another senior wish came true last night for one of our residents at the Joseph C. Thomas Center. Friendship Retirement Community made it possible for Lawrence to see Journey, and what a night it was, a night we will never forget- rocking with one of the greatest bands ever. It goes to show you that dreams can come true at any age, and remember Don't Stop Believin ♥️🎸
