Izabella “Izzy” Marie Kent, 15, of Pocomoke City, Maryland, passed away Friday, July 24,2026 surrounded by her loving family after a lifelong battle with RETTS Syndrome.
Those who knew Izzy were very lucky. She touched the hearts of many and has left a mark on all of us.
Izzy loved pink and purple. Purple is also the color for RETTS syndrome. In Izzy’s honor the family asks you to please wear pink or purple to the funeral.
A funeral service will be held Monday, August 3, 2026, at 12pm at Bounds Funeral Home on East Main Street in Salisbury where friends may visit one hour prior to the service. Pastor Phillip Brown will officiate. Interment will follow in Springhill Memory Gardens in Hebron.

Mary Elizabeth Bowden Pinto, 87, of Salisbury, MD passed away on Monday the thirteenth day of July 2026 at Peregrine Assisted Living in Salisbury, MD. A celebration of life/funeral service with lots of memories of Mary to be shared will be held at Bethesda United Methodist Church, 406 N Division Street, Salisbury, MD 21801 on Saturday, July 18th, 2026, at 12:00pm, with visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at Wicomico Memorial Park in Salisbury. The Rev Zac Wheeler will officiate, along with Dr. Daniel Rich.

C. Joseph Schiller, 87, of Salisbury entered into eternal rest with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, July 2, 2026, with his loving wife by his side. He was born and raised in Salisbury on March 7, 1939. He always said, “I have a lot of sand in my shoes.” Joe was a twin, born to the late Joseph John and Sadie Woodrow Schiller. In keeping with Joe’s final wishes, there will be no formal services, and he wishes to be cremated. Inurnment will be in Wicomico Memorial Park in Salisbury at the family plot. You must be born of the spirit if you want to live with Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior for all eternity. Joe enjoyed these scriptures and would like you to refer to them. John 3:3, John 3:16, and John 14:2 and 3.
A memorial contribution may be made to Allen Memorial Baptist Church, 1303 Snow Hill Rd, Salisbury, MD 21804 or the Leukemia Foundation of Delaware, 91 Lukens Drive F, New Castle, DE 19720.

Clara Mae Hastings Robertson, 96, of Salisbury, passed away July 6, 2026, surrounded by her loving family in Eden, MD. Born in Salisbury, she was the daughter of the late
Dorsey and Zellah Goode Gravenor.
A memorial service will be held Sunday, July 12, 2026 at 12:30 at Liberty Church of Christ, 1313 Old Ocean City Road, Salisbury.

Glenn H. Benedict, Jr., 76, of Salisbury, Maryland, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 28, 2026, at his home, surrounded by his loving family. Glenn was a life-long resident of the Salisbury area. He was known by many for his dedicated work ethic, his kindness, and his devotion to his community. Arrangements are in the care of Bounds Funeral Home in Salisbury, MD. Celebration of Life will held at Dove Point on August 8th from 11:30 am to 2:00 pm.
