Dancing, singing, and listening to music with children can create meaningful moments of connection for people living with dementia. Music can spark memories, encourage movement, lift moods, and bring out smiles—even when words become difficult.

Sometimes it’s not about remembering the song… it’s about remembering the feeling. 💜💃

Living with dementia may change what someone can do, but it doesn’t change their need to feel needed, valued, and included.

Let them dust, fold towels, set the table, water the plants, or help in ways they enjoy.

Sometimes it’s not about the task—it’s about feeling useful, connected, and part of something.

Instead of “You don’t need to do that,” try, “Would you like to help?”

Because everyone deserves to have purpose, dignity, and joy. ❤️
