Our beloved mother, Maria Viola Claudio, entered peacefully into eternal rest at the age of 81, surrounded by her loving family in her home on May 31, 2026. She was a cherished wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. While our hearts are heavy with sorrow, we rejoice in the hope that she has been reunited with her loved ones in Heaven. Born on December 18, 1944, our mother lived a beautiful and remarkable life. Her courage and tenacity led her to California to live with her Uncle Manuel and Aunt Frances at just 12 years old, and again at 15. She spoke with great fondness of her time with her California family. While we will forever miss her, we take comfort in knowing that she is home and reunited with our dad.
