When families say goodbye to a beloved pet, every journey looks a little different.🩵
For some healing begins with words. For others, it begins with a box of crayons, a favorite color, and little hand, creating one final gift of love.
For children, it can be especially difficult and confusing when dealing with the loss of a beloved pet. This is a time for someone when grief has never been vid before and it can be hard to comprehend what is actually going on. This doesn’t mean the grief isn’t there, it just means I don’t know how to show it.
