Here at Communication Lab, we strive to be creative in our approach to helping individuals with autism gain the skills to self-regulate, communicate effectively and be independent. It is our top priority to provide parents with the tools needed to ensure all skills learned during our Direct Care sessions are able to be implemented into your family’s daily lifestyle! Included with our personalized

ABA care plans, we also provide Caregiver Coaching sessions that include sharing regular updates on your child’s progress as we troubleshoot challenges together. It truly doesn’t take much to spark joy, connection, and meaningful learning.

Our learners amaze us every day with their creativity and ingenuity. What began as a simple leisure activity quickly transformed into an imaginative pretend play experience and a natural opportunity to strengthen working memory. Jelly blocks became farm animals, a storage bin became a barn, and together we sang “Old MacDonald” while adding each new animal to the song. As the list grew, so did the challenge of remembering the order of the animals, turning play into a meaningful learning experience.

The best learning opportunities are often the ones we never planned. When we slow down, stay curious, and follow a learner’s lead, we discover opportunities for growth, connection, and skill-building all around us. 💛

Every child experiences and responds to sensory input differently. From sounds and textures to movement and lights, understanding your child’s sensory profile can help better support their unique needs and strengths. 💙

Sensory differences aren’t something to “fix”—they’re an important part of how a person experiences the world. By learning more about sensory preferences, we can create environments that feel safe, supportive, and give them the input their body’s need.

If you’re new here, we offer community based Social Programs year-round within our service model offering support with building genuine connections with peers and in navigating novel community settings.
