Anjani has been practicing the healing arts professionally for over 25 years yet self-healing and wellness have been a lifelong journey for Anjani. After honorable discharge from the US Navy, Anjani completed her bachelor’s degree, 1000 hours of bodywork training and moved to East Asia for 2 years where she studied with masters in Reiki, Ayurveda, Yoga, and Thai Massage. A powerful synthesis of Ayurveda, Astrology, Shamanic Journeying, Yoga Philosophy, Psychosomatic Bodywork and practical alchemy to ignite personal magnetism and reinstate coherence of mind, body, spirit. Anjani graduated from Cortiva Institute in Tucson, AZ in December 2007 with over 1000 hours training and practicum then traveled to Thailand to study Thai Massage with the Sunshine Network of the International Society of Thai Yoga Massage and is certified to practice Thai massage. Her passion for the healing arts led her to India where she studied ancient modalities such as Ayurveda Massage, Panchakarma, Reiki, and Yoga. While living in India, Anjani studied the traditional practices of Reiki from Nirvana Kendra Usui System of Natural Healing with Jacqueline Keita in Kodaikanal. She also studied Ayurveda Massage at CareWell Hospital in Kerala, India and is certified in Panchakarma Therapy. Anjani is a student of The International Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Centre and has been titled Yoga Acharya (Master of Yoga) in March 2008. She stayed in the ashram to continue practicing and to teach new students as well as yoga teacher trainees as an assistant teacher in 6 teacher training courses. As a yoga teacher living in Sivananda Ashram, Anjani learned to integrated yogic practices into our modern Western lifestyle. She has also completed Nutritional Counseling/Healing with Whole Foods at the School of Healing Arts, San Diego, Dr. David Frawley’s Ayurvedic Healing Course, Level III CranioSacral Therapy (over 90 hours training) with an Upledger Certified Teacher, has been certified Reiki Master Teacher and taking on-going Shamanic Training with Shamanic Practioner, Katie Weatherup in San Diego, California, and is an active member and student of the Shamanic Astrology Mystery School. Anjani is currently certified with the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork and holds licenses with the Massage Therapy Boards in the states of California and Arizona. She is also a registered teacher (E/RYT-500, YACEP) with Yoga Alliance, and has a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.
