There’s a trap we sometimes get caught in: forgetting, every now and then, the size of what we already have. Not the hard stuff. Not the uncertainty. Just that.

A different kind of tending’s been happening at my mailbox - zinnias, grown from seed.

When someone new moves in, they get a fresh-cut bunch. I love these because they grow more every time you cut them. Simple, and so beautiful. A small offering, mostly for the people and the pollinators both. More about abundance and how some things don’t wait until you’re ready in this month’s newsletter.

Spent Saturday walking the forest trails at in Franklin with Lee Anne - she and her husband Jonathan are the heart behind this incredible land. That’s where our forest bathing experience begins next Saturday. 🌿

We’ll slow down, take in the forest, gather creekside for a tea ceremony, then linger in the greenhouse over quiche if you can stay a little longer - a perfect Mother’s Day experience to celebrate the mothers and mother figures in your life. 💐

Saturday night brought more magic - live music under a just-past-full moon at in East Nashville. 🌳✨
