Your cycle is more than a calendar. It may be one of the clearest windows into your long-term health.

In our latest article, we explore how tracking four hormones — LH, FSH, estrogen, and progesterone — can reveal patterns that go far beyond fertility, from ovulation and perimenopause shifts to signs of stress, metabolic health, and how your body is responding over time.

Because the real insight isn’t in one number. It’s in the patterns.

And for women in midlife, understanding those patterns can help make conversations with your doctor more informed, more productive, and more personal.

Read the full article to learn what your hormones may be telling you about your healthspan.

You did the research.
You came prepared.
You asked the right questions.

And somehow, you still left the doctor’s office without what you needed.

For too many women, navigating healthcare feels like a second job — one that comes with no training manual, endless barriers, and way too much self-advocacy.

Join us for Navigating Women’s Healthcare When the System Isn’t Working for You, a live conversation and Q&A with women’s health advocate and author Rebecca Bloom, hosted by Tiffany Nieslanik.

We’ll talk about what to do when your doctor isn’t up to date, how to handle insurance denials and coverage gaps, what to document, when to escalate, and how to advocate for yourself without burning out.

Bring your questions. This is the conversation so many women need.

Women live longer than men, but too often, those extra years are spent managing chronic illness instead of living with strength, clarity, and vitality.

In The Long View, , MD, orthopaedic sports surgeon, longevity expert, and author of Unbreakable, breaks down why female biology can’t be treated as an afterthought in longevity science.

Her message is clear: optimizing female longevity starts with three foundational pillars:

✨ Supporting hormonal health
✨ Closing the gender health gap
✨ Funding research that actually reflects women’s bodies

Because women’s health isn’t a niche category. It’s the headline.

Heart disease doesn’t start when symptoms show up. For many women, cardiovascular risk can build quietly for decades, and the most important clues may not be included in your standard annual bloodwork.

In Tiffany’s latest article, she breaks down three key biomarkers every woman should know: LDL cholesterol, hsCRP, and Lp(a). Together, these can help predict long-term cardiovascular risk and give women a clearer picture of what may be happening beneath the surface.

She also explores how wearables are starting to reveal meaningful heart health patterns, not as diagnoses, but as signals worth paying attention to.

The takeaway? Your 40s and 50s can be a powerful window for prevention, but it’s never too late to start asking better questions about your heart health.

More supplements, more problems? 👀

Most of us think about *what* supplements to take, but not always *when* to take them, what they interact with, or whether they’re working against our goals.

Calcium, iron, and magnesium can interfere with the absorption of certain medications if taken too close together. And “natural” doesn’t always mean risk-free.

Some supplements can change how medications work, either reducing their effectiveness or increasing side effects.

The real takeaway: more isn’t always better. A simpler, more intentional supplement routine may do more for your health than a crowded cabinet of products.

Intermittent fasting is everywhere, but is it actually good for women’s health?

The answer: it depends.

For some women, IF may support modest weight and fat loss. For women with PCOS, the benefits may go deeper, including improved insulin resistance, lower testosterone, and more regular cycles. But fasting isn’t for everyone — especially if you have a history of disordered eating, are underweight, or are training intensely.

Like so much health advice, the real question isn’t “does this work?” It’s: who does it work for, and when should we be cautious?

Tiffany breaks down what the research really says about intermittent fasting, hormones, PCOS, menopause, and women’s metabolic health.
