Meet Dr. Makayla Koochou! 👓✨

Dr. Koochou earned her Doctor of Optometry from UC Berkeley, with clinical training at Walter Reed Medical Center, VA Pacific Islands, and VA Livermore.

Her journey into optometry is also a personal one. After experiencing rapidly progressing nearsightedness at a young age, early exposure to myopia control inspired her to pursue a career helping others see their best.

And her connection to Invision Optometry goes way back! Before becoming an optometrist, Makayla worked with our team as a trained optician. Today, we’re thrilled to welcome her back as Dr. Koochou. 💙

With a special interest in contact lenses and dry eye care, she’s excited to care for our patients and be part of the Invision family once again.

🎷 We’re jazzed about the Fillmore Jazz Festival! 🎼 Happening today and tomorrow from 10AM-6PM along 12 blocks on Fillmore Street.

Invision will be closed today in observance of the 4th of July, and we are closed on Sunday. But we’re back up and running Monday July 6th! We get to enjoy the festival with you!
