PRC PRC helps those affected by HIV/AIDS, substance use, or mental health issues realize their best selves. Their education. How others see them.

There’s more to health than just, “Are you sick or well?” True wellness goes so much deeper than that. To truly help a person, you must help them on every level, assess and address all the social factors that affect them: Their environment. How they see themselves. But, up against so much, trying to change so many things, we simply cannot do it alone. We need you there, too, fighting right alongsi

de us. At PRC, we believe that everyone – regardless of their situation – has value and potential, and we fight tirelessly to help them realize that, by directly tackling these social factors. With your help, we help our clients realize their best selves. By helping them stabilize their housing. Develop the skills to find and keep a job. Overcome substance and mental health issues. Secure income and healthcare benefits. And, most importantly, by giving them hope, and a path to new opportunities. Together, we can shine a light on the causes that affect our clients and ensure they get the attention and respect they deserve. Because when people have the ability to realize their potential, to lead stronger and more productive lives, they add to – not take away from – the community. So help us improve our community by helping its most vulnerable members.

Congratulations to Dennis Reilly on 29 years with PRC and Hollis Fleischer on 11 years of service!

For nearly three decades, Dennis has been a steadfast advocate for individuals seeking dignity, opportunity, and purpose through employment. Beginning his career during the height of the AIDS epidemic, he worked tirelessly to help people living with HIV overcome stigma and barriers to meaningful work. Over the years, he has helped more than 1,000 clients secure employment, transforming lives through his guidance, encouragement, and unwavering belief in each person's potential.

Hollis has spent the last 11 years exemplifying what it means to lead with heart. Whether managing programs, supporting staff, developing curriculum, or stepping into multiple roles when needed most, she has consistently gone above and beyond to ensure clients receive the support and opportunities they deserve. Her positivity, dedication, and commitment to excellence have left a lasting mark on both her colleagues and the individuals we serve.

Together, Dennis and Hollis represent the very best of PRC: compassion in action, service rooted in dignity, and a belief that every person deserves the chance to thrive.

Please join us in congratulating them on these incredible milestones and thanking them for the countless lives they've touched along the way. ❤️

Pride is a celebration of courage: the courage to live authentically, love openly, and show up as your full self. At PRC, we believe our communities are strongest when everyone is seen, valued, and empowered to belong.

This month and every month, we stand with the LGBTQ+ community and celebrate the diversity that makes us stronger together.

Happy Pride Month! 🌈

As part of Seven Days in June: Health is Primary, we’re participating in a candlelight vigil to lift up the concerns related to HIV, LGBTQ+, and public health funding cuts that will affect all in our communities in the coming years. Join us as we recognize the leadership that San Francisco has played in building up successful models of HIV prevention and care, call to protect the legacy of these investments, honor the memory of those we have lost to HIV and AIDS, and celebrate the many long-term HIV survivors and other leaders that push our movement forward.

In San Francisco, a single setback—a layoff, a medical bill, or a missed paycheck—can lead to becoming unhoused.

And once someone loses housing, getting back is incredibly difficult.

But prevention works:

Between March 2025 and November 2025, 280 clients responded to PRC’s outreach:

• 100% of PRC Move-In Assistance clients remained housed
• 98% of Eviction Prevention clients remained housed

Timely support changes outcomes.
