A tummy tuck can improve more than excess skin and abdominal contour. During abdominoplasty, stretch marks located on the lower abdomen below the belly button are often removed along with the excess skin. Dr. Cheesborough explains that implants do not have a strict expiration date as long as they remain intact, soft, and continue to fit a patient’s goals over time.
