After years of dreaming, planning, and building, patients and even their family members, are now playing on our new all abilities playground. For many George Mark families, it is more than a playground. It is a place where siblings can play together, where children of all abilities can join in, and where no one has to sit on the sidelines.
We are grateful to Cristina Rendon for sharing these first moments with such care and heart. Cristina has been a friend of George Mark for many years, and we could not think of a better person to tell this story.
Take a look at her wonderful report and see the playground through the eyes of the children and families who are already making memories there.

George Mark Children's House has opened an all-abilities playground featuring wheelchair-accessible swings, a merry-go-round, and sensory elements.
