It’s finally time for spring sports to kick off!

“No pain, no gain” is not a mantra young athletes should live by. In fact, pain often signals a sports injury, and ignoring it could lead to more serious problems!

Be on the lookout for these sports injury red flags:
🚩 pain accompanied by swelling, limping, or a drop in performance
🚩 pain that lasts hours or days after a practice or competition
🚩 pain that does not go away with rest or gets worse over time
🚩 pain triggered by normal daily activities like walking or climbing stairs

Make an appointment with your child’s doctor or a sports medicine physician if your child is experiencing these types of pain!

It’s almost dancinnnnn’ time!!

Dr. Rudman has been busy preparing her moves for DWTD this Saturday! In between patients, we usually find her practicing in any and all open spaces 💃🏽 her dedication is unmatched!

We’re excited to cheer her on as she dances a jazz number with her professional dancer, Brandon Simmons. The night will also showcase dances performed by seven other incredible doctors and their pros. Truly a night to never forget for an amazing cause!

She shows up for her patients in the office and now she’s stepping onto the dance floor for them 💛

Dr. Rudman is participating in Dancing with the Docs Cape Cod, raising money for the Cape Wellness Collaborative supporting local individuals navigating cancer.
This cause is close to so many, and we couldn’t be more proud to cheer on our very own in a whole new way 🫶

March is National Nutrition Month! 🥦🍓

One of the best ways to support growing kids is by encouraging more fruits and veggies throughout the day.

Try simple ways to add them in:
🍉 Keep washed, cut up fruits and vegetables in the refrigerator for easy snacks
🫘 Try vegetarian versions of your family’s favorite dishes
🥕 Add a fruit or vegetable as part of every meal or snack

The goal is helping kids learn that healthy foods can be a normal (and delicious) part of everyday life! 💚
