Another beautiful day in paradise at Oak Hill Cemetery, just listen to those birds... Enjoy the shade and you will find several beautiful memorials.

The Parisi family memorial is one of my favorites. The gray and black granite compliment each other to bring out the lettering. It highlights the names and the photos on the memorial to create a stunning memorial.

Have you seen us around town?

This is our work crew. Vince, John, Ryan and Augie. You might catch them filling gas in Buellton, grabbing supplies at the hardware store or at the cemetery engraving stone or cleaning things up.

Where ever you find them, say hello. We are always happy to see a smiling face or to answer your memorial questions.

Shout out to our local robotics team, the Octobots (FRC Team 9084) from Dos Pueblos High School!

They won the Quality Award at the Glendale District Competition for outstanding robot design and have earned a spot in the Southern California district championships this coming weekend in Anaheim!

FIRST Robotics Competition is the world's premier youth engineering program — the students don't just build robots. They learn real engineering, programming, project management, and teamwork under genuine competitive pressure. These are skills that will follow them for life.

But getting there isn't free.
SoCal Championships (Anaheim): $10,000 FIRST World Championship (Houston, if they advance): $45,000+

Every dollar goes directly to travel, registration, and competition costs — making sure every student on the team can compete, regardless of their family's financial situation.

If you've ever seen these kids in action, you know they've earned this. Please share this post and consider donating — even small amounts add up fast when a community shows up together.

Thank you to the Lead Sponsors for getting them this far! Teledyne Instruments , Arthrex, Bodenhamer Family, RTX Graphics, SB Venture Partner, Water Wyatt Technology, KARL STORZ, Toyon, City of Goleta, Santa Barbara Monumental, Del Aerospace and Gene Haas Foundation
