I am native New Mexican, born and raised. My parents said I talked so much very early that they had to buy me talking dolls so that I could have someone else to talk to. Growing up I learned to pay attention to how those around me spoke, but what mattered more to me was what they were trying to say. After bouncing around different career & degree paths, through God’s plan I landed on speech-language pathology. I have nine years of experience in the public school setting. The science involved in articulation and fluency is particularly intriguing to me but communication in general is special whatever the modality may be. I am a mom of three girls. I enjoy attending learning, watching documentaries, going to church, spending time with family and friends, and working out.
