Medicare and all the Part B’s and D’s have to be the most poorly constructed government products ever. Part A, the hospital coverage under Medicare, is the only part that works as intended- a catastrophic plan with a small deductible when used. Part B currently costs recipients a MINIMUM OF $202.90 a month with a yearly $283 deductible, and it still only pays 80% of your outpatient costs.
My advice? Find a doctor (like me) who will keep you healthy and active- thereby avoiding the endless carousel of specialists along with all their expensive tests. The healthier you are, the more you can avoid having a library list of medications that will economically drain you.
Find one doctor who can do everything for a controlled cost. An endless parade of medications, specialist visits, and surgeries is not a rite of passage- it can be avoided, but it takes work! Check out what we are doing at Holley Navarre Medical Clinic!
