We have been busy the last couple days here at Ascend Life. Yesterday the Eli fire department was so wonderful and allowed our individuals to use their equipment. They loved every second of it. The Wonder firemen were so compassionate, and patient with our guys and gals. Today our individuals assisted in preparing food for Help the Homeless.

Hello everyone! The month of September we at Ascend life are supporting our individuals in giving back, and supporting our community. Today our individuals enjoyed buying and donating food to our local food pantry. God's food Pantry was so loving and appreciative. We were met and assisted by two gentlemen who not only helped us, but shared that the food was much needed. We are planning another trip and encourage the rest of our community to join us.

I know a few people have asked about the softball schedule and expressed interest in coming to their games. Here is their game schedule, we are teamed up with Lifeworks this year so we are the Ravens! I highlighted our future games and the dates!

Today at Ascend Life we had a jammed packed filled with some of our favorite activities! We played a softball game & enjoyed some time at the park this morning, we followed that up with some hair cuts, and afterwards had lunch. We’re ending the day by working on our budgeting/money skills by having a mock movie theater here at the ADT, where our folks earn pretend money and purchase their movie tickets, drinks, and snacks to eat while watching a movie of their choosing this week! 🎥🍿

Today we spent several hours soaking up this nice and cool weather! We went to the park to practice softball in preparation for our continued softball season! Our people also love spending time on the playground, swinging especially as you can probably tell by their sweet smiles! ☀️
We play another softball game with LifeWorks, tomorrow at 10am at Cole Park! Come out and join us and support all of our folks, they’ve been practicing super hard and love to play! 🥎

Thank you to LifeWorks for allowing us to join their team so we would have the opportunity to participate in softball. We had a wonderful time and our individuals enjoyed every second of it.

Hello everyone!
Here at Ascend life we feel it's very important for our individuals to have as much community involvement as possible. One way we do that is to treat our individuals to a meal at least once a week. Please help us and comment below your favorite place to eat, and/or a place you feel would be a wonderful experience for our Ascend Life family. We will let our individuals pick their favorite choices, and we will document our experience along the way. Thank you so much for all the love and support, and I can't wait to see all the wonderful places you all have chosen.
