My brother-in-law, “Java” was called to Heaven Monday morning. He was a wonderful brother-in-law and an extremely loving Uncle to my daughters. He loved his family immensely, and was happiest being surrounded by them. I’m grateful for the ways he showed up to help during some really tough times, grateful for his humor, and grateful for one last visit.
As I watched my niece place a photograph of his son Jesse in his pocket, I was reminded as always, that although it is a loss for us on this earthly plane, it is a homecoming and reunion in Heaven, where everyone is healed and whole again. The thought of his first moments in Heaven being him hugging his son again, fills my heart with so much warmth and healing. I love you Java, and I miss you already. Give Jesse the biggest squeeze for me. 🙏🏻♥️
