At WEL-Life Scottsbluff, we’re a small community with a big heart

We are the only true assisted living facility in the area, and we have a wonderful reputation and relationship with local physicians and social workers due to the value we put on the personal, one-on-one relationships that we develop with our residents - as well as those that they have developed with their family and friends. 🎃 Help us make Halloween a little sweeter at WEL-Life at Scottsbluff Assisted Living!

Our residents love welcoming trick-or-treaters to our living room on Halloween, and we're hoping for a great turnout this year! The fun runs from 4–7 p.m. on October 31, and we could use a little help making sure there's plenty of candy to go around.

If you'd like to contribute, candy donations can be dropped off at WEL-Life at Scottsbluff, 617 West 33rd Street.

We appreciate the help and can't wait to see all those little ghosts and goblins come through our doors! 👻🍬

Our community had the best time at senior olympics! Two of our members received medal placement in golf and bowling!

Some people just shine brightly… and we’re blessed to know quite a few of them here at WEL-Life at Scottsbluff.

✨ September 13-19 is National Assisted Living Week and this year’s theme – Shining Through the Years – couldn’t be more fitting. It’s a time to celebrate our residents and all they’ve lived through and the stories and knowledge they share with us.

It’s also an opportunity to shine a light on the staff, families, friends and volunteers who all play a part in making WEL-Life feel like home.

We can’t wait to celebrate this special week with some special people. ❤️

Our Activity Director Cheryl planned another month jam-packed with activities for our residents. She puts a lot of effort into creating fun and enriching events. She also uses her creativity to create a monthly bulletin board that shows important events such as birthdays and fun facts for the month!

Our community started the day off with chair yoga, enjoyed sweet watermelon, and ended making a prayer jar!

Sunshine, yard games, Shirley temples, and cookies! We had a great time with blessed beginnings daycare! Such a great intergenerational connection!

Our activity director Cheryl keeps residents informed about upcoming activities and events on our bulletin board. So festive! The residents enjoy learning about what is happening in the facility and other notable happenings around the world. In addition to America celebrating its 250th birthday, we also recognized Canada for its national celebration on July 1. Thanks, Cheryl, for the time and attention you devote to our activities program!
