I don’t know his name.
The chiropractor who changed my life — I never caught his name. He was working at a gym. A woman was doing screenings with a piece of string. She got me to sit down. He adjusted me.
A few adjustments. That’s it. And something shifted that I hadn’t been able to shift on my own.
I think about him sometimes. I’d love for him to know what those few appointments set in motion. The regular chiropractic care I started after that. The way it changed how I felt in my body. The path it eventually put me on — chiropractic school, Breathe Chiropractic, fifteen-plus years of helping other people find what I found that day.
He’ll never know. And that’s okay.
But it’s part of why I take every appointment seriously. Because you never know which one is the one that opens the door for someone. The one they’ll think about years later. The one they can’t fully explain — they just know it mattered.
If someone pointed you toward chiropractic and you’ve been on the fence — this is me being that woman with the string.
Come in. See what your body does.
