1. Down-regulate daily. Five real minutes of slow breathing—not scrolling. You’re telling your body it’s safe, which is the input it needs to do everything else well.

2. Keep your pelvis balanced and moving. Regular care so your body has room and good input as it changes week to week. (This is the Webster part our pregnant patients are obsessed with.)

3. Consistency beats intensity. The same small things every week will always beat the perfect protocol you do once.

Dear High Powered Women of Phoenix- Six weeks of showing up and the scale hasn’t moved. I need you to hear this.

Your body is not broken. It’s not betraying you. It’s doing exactly what a nervous system that has been under chronic stress does — it’s protecting its reserves.

Here’s what’s actually happening: consistent exercise is a new stress on the body. A good stress, but stress. And a nervous system that’s been in survival mode for years doesn’t immediately trust that this new demand is safe. So it holds on.

What you’re building in those first six weeks isn’t visible on a scale. You’re building the foundation. Mitochondrial density. Insulin sensitivity. Hormonal regulation. Neural pathways that make movement feel normal instead of threatening.

Give your body the longer horizon it’s asking for. Set your goal weight at 6 months, not 6 weeks. And for the next six weeks — set a non-scale goal that has nothing to do with the number.

Because here’s the truth — it took 9 months to build you from a single cell. Give yourself at least that much grace.
